Get Our Digital DLs on Bandcamp Free Until the End of the Year
First of all, we want to thank everyone that downloaded our music on Bandcamp in 2020. As you may already have realized, we’ve priced every release on Bandcamp (new and old) as FREE (Pay What You Want) since the pandemic got started in Spring. This is true of our back catalog and new releases. We wanted to take some time to talk about the future of our Bandcamp and what we’re doing next.
In 2021, we’ll be charging again for some of our digital releases on Bandcamp (although we always try to keep costs low on MP3s). Mostly, this will affect full length albums. Singles and Formerly Free albums/mixtapes will remain free. But if you want to get some MP3s of our highly regarded releases like New York Telephone, Halfway, Autonomy Music, Chekhov’s Gun and more, now is the time. New releases in 2020 were also launched for Free and will now have some cost in 2021, so grab them now too, including Ornate, White Horse and The First Stand.
You guys have all been amazing to us over the years and we were happy to provide our tunes for Free Download this year in an effort to spread some level of joy. We are going to keep a decent crop of music Free going forward as well. We also want to thank everyone that paid for our tunes anyway this year, in some cases charting releases that were being given away and/or weren’t even available physically yet at the time.
We really hope that 2021 is a better year for everyone reading this than 2020 was and sincerely thank everyone that’s supported our music in this very tough year. Remember, our entire Bandcamp is STILL FREE RIGHT NOW, grab some tunes on us.
