WHEN WE ARE QUIET....WE ARE WORKING (2024 Label Update)
2024 marks Uncommon Records’ 20th Anniversary of operation! We’ve been admittedly quiet this year, but it’s literally because we’ve been hard at work completing releases from a variety of our artists. We’re gonna take some time below to break down what you’ll be seeing from us during the Spring months!
It all starts TODAY, with Pastense’s first single, The Ills, taken from his upcoming Uncommon Nasa-produced full length titled Sidewalk Chalk, Parade Day Rain. The Ills can be heard on all streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music as well as Bandcamp where it can be DL’d. Be sure to FOLLOW Pastense on Spotify as well so that you keep up with all of his upcoming releases!
By the beginning of Summer all of the releases below will be to your ears. Our early 2024 schedule includes that Pastense LP as well as the re-issue of Masai Bey’s classic Art of the Covenant album and a brand new EP from Short Fuze called I Once Dreamt of Berlin. Short Fuze’s EP is produced by Berlin’s own, 4most. All three of the releases below will have lead singles associated with them so be on the look out at all streaming services. A great way to do this is to follow Uncommon’s Official playlist on Spotify which is always updated with our latest and greatest.
